Further to our announcement on 24 May 2021, the Company is pleased to announce that, Optimax, through its subsidiaries, is also undertaking the following:-

1. Collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Territories (“Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan” or “KWP”) on the ‘VAKSINASI BERGERAK KWP – MYMEDIC@WILAYAH’ programme (‘Mobile Vaccination Programme’), a new concept involving mobile vaccination targeting, amongst others, residents under the Projek Perumahan Rakyat and Perumahan Awam, as well as workers of essential services companies found within designated areas of the Federal Territories of Malaysia. Optimax took part in the pilot project for the implementation of the Mobile Vaccination Programme which success has culminated in KWP issuing an official confirmation of Optimax’s participation in the Mobile Vaccination Programme; and

2. Participation in another pilot project initiated by ProtectHealth in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, where the Government had on 12 June 2021 launched ’Program Imunisasi Industri COVID-19 Kerjasama Awam-Swasta’ (’PIKAS’) to complement the Government’s ‘Program Imunisasi COVID-19 Kebangsaan’ (‘PICK’) to accelerate the immunisation of the public.

The Company is expected to receive a nominal fee of RM45.00 to RM50.00 per dose per person to help defray its costs to mobilize its’ resources under the Mobile Vaccination Program and PIKAS. All vaccines are sourced from and supplied directly by the Government.
